Well, Are You?
In what we hope isn't a sadistic foot-fetish gone horribly awry, a new discovery has upped the ante, now totaling a combined 5 incidents in the last calendar year where excised human feet were found either beached or afloat along British Columbian shorelines. Since last August, a staggering combination of four men's feet and a woman's right foot have been found along Canadian beaches.
On Friday, August 1st, a black athletic shoe was on the sandy shores of a Clallam County beach (Washington) - with a human foot badly decomposed inside, authorities have confirmed. According to Clallam County under-sheriff Ron Peregrin, the foot appears to have been detached naturally after lengthy time period of floating in the water. Peregrin adds that the foot will be sent to forensic experts and a thorough DNA test will be completed and a profile will be conducted in about 6-8 weeks.
Peregrin also added that the shoe found is very similar to the 3 found in Canada, although discovered a considerable distance away (all the others were white, this one black). Since Clallam County is technically in Washington, only 14 miles off the Canadian shoreline, U.S. authorities are cooperating with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to determine whether or not this particular case is indeed linked to the other feet found in Canada (two of which were proved to belong to the same man). Peregrin quips "those similarities you can't ignore...we want to make sure our investigation is coordinated." The most telling part of the case may come from the RCMP themselves, disclosing that none of the feet found were forcibly removed. Interesting!
A sixth case was believed to be unearthed as well, but examination revealed the remains to be an animal paw crammed into a shoe, likely as a hoax. As of now, the investigation persists.
Final Word: Five human found in a year? None seem to be removed forcibly? WTF? Just strange happenstance? Thoughts, theories?

Speaking of horror in Canada:
"A 40-year-old man is in custody in Manitoba after a young man was stabbed -- and, witnesses said, decapitated -- aboard a Greyhound bus travelling through the province overnight."
I'm guessing the people once attached to the feet didn't check into hospitals. If the weight of the shoes caused the feet to become severed at the ankles, what happened to the bodies? Creepy.
That'd be my first guess.
That's... that's... holy shit, that's creepy.
