Evidently Hollywood has zero qualms with not only remaking popular horror franchises, it seems some studios are keen on retelling more esoteric cult fare as well. Such is the case with the imminent release of It's Alive - a remake of Larry Cohen's (Q, It Lives Again) 1974 low budget sensation of the same name. The new version, about a deformed baby that goes on a blood-letting rampage, will be helmed by director Josef Rusnak (Thirteenth Floor, Art of War II: Betrayal) who is somehow attached to four other projects as well (including a remake of classic ghost tale The Uninvited). Rusnak's vision will involve Bijou Phillips in the lead, with James Murray, Skye Bennet, Raphael Coleman, Jack Eliis, Ty Glaser, Arkie Reese and Laura Giosh leveling out the support. Despite a roiled release date, a lengthy trailer has surfaced on the net. Here you are. Enjoy.

HAHA wow I don't know what to say, I'm not sure I can take that seriously. I guess I should probably watch the originals. BTW is that the televised trailer because I'm really suprised it had nudity in it.
I think this is a red band trailer (or whatever they call unrated trailers). As for the original It's Alive, it's pretty horrible, but still fun if you don't expect too much from it. The new It's Alive looks promising from the trailer above.
was not a fan of the origional and never tried to track down any sequels but this one looks to tbe alot different of a story. With the mother and baby it seems more like the unborn (if thats the movies name im thinking of)
Everything about this movie looks terrible. Even the whole idea. I'm pretty glad this is one movie I've somehow missed out on, since I've seen some very terrible horrors.
what in the hell? a killer baby. a fucking killer baby.

Haha. That's what I was thinking.
