Holy S*it! If not hands down the gnarliest, most viciously graphic trailer (a clip really) we've had the good pleasure to share with you all here at OMGHorror, it's certainly close. From the extremely well prepared makeup man Robert Hall, who's worked on everything from Wishmaster, Ghosts of Mars, to TVs Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, even to this years stand out horror efforts Quarantine and The Burrowers - Hall now assumes writer/director credit for his ultra-gory, grue-brimming second feature Laid to Rest. According to an anonymous summarizer over at imdb.com, the film is: "A terrifying story of a young girl who wakes up in a casket with a traumatic head injury and no memory of her identity. She quickly realizes she was abducted by a Deranged Serial Murderer and in an isolated rural town she must survive the night and outsmart the technologically inclined killer who is hellbent on finishing what he started." Sounds damn promising, especially after watching the clip below! Laid to Rest is set for a 2009 release, the flick starring Bobbi Sue Luther, Lena Headey, Kevin Gage, Sean Whalen and Johnathon Schaech.

Alright, maybe a tad bit extreme, but damn after seeing The Thirst Blood War, and with the mediocrity of all the Molly Hartley's out there, you can understand the zeal. I'll definitely watch it for the FX work if nothing else.
i never liked that guy in That Thing You Do. "iiiiiii....quit!...I quit!...I quit!"
not bad, not bad at all - I think that was the guy from dead man on campus who got brained.
