A Resident Evil flick without Milla Jovovich is quite akin to a Terminator flick without the Schwarz. I must admit though that the CGI doesn't look as nearly as bad as I initially though upon the announcement of this versions premise. Animated zombies, animated. Huh?
That doesn't look half bad! Resident Evil Degeneration is looking more like the video game series rather than the Milla Jovavich trilogy, which is definitely not a bad thing in my book. Should be interesting to see how this one turns out.
I don't know, man. I always preferred Georgie's script to Anderson's. I really liked it when I read it... just reading the script alone was more exciting than the movies. And that's really something!

No argument there Saint_Splattergut! While I didn't read the whole script of Romero's for Resident Evil, I did read a good chunk. I agree--it did seem more solid than Anderson's.
That man just has a great talent for creating characters you care about. He's done it time and time again and perfected it.
BTW, EoE, you seen Martin? I've watched all of George's Dead movies but I wanna see Martin. Heard so many good things about it... but can't find it anywhere!!

I have seen Martin and it's definitely worth you continuing your search. Some even consider it Romero's best film, although my personal favorite is Day of the Dead. Martin's a great vampire film.
You should also check out The Crazies and The Dark Half (which is criminally underrated!) for more non-Dead series Romero goodness.
